Why should I go to this conference? 

This will be a spiritual time of vision, powerful lessons and amazing fellowship to rededicate our lives to Christ. This is a new theme we haven’t explored before in our fellowship and we believe the singles ministry can thrive from this valuable time.

Why the title Paradox?

We chose this title as a committee because we will be studying out the Book of Luke at our conference and we see a “paradox” in the gospel that helps us to see this amazing yet scary intersection of God’s compassionate love versus this dark world. After the pandemic, as singles, we are at a crossroads of how we will come out of this pandemic and hopefully renew our hearts for Christ. We will also be doing a service project partnering with HOPE worldwide to showcase God’s love.

Will singles be preaching?

Yes, the singles committee has a deep conviction on having singles preach to singles. Yes, even the key note speeches.

What is the service project?

We are proud to partner up with HOPE Worldwide to do a 5K run/walk (3.2 Miles) to fundraise for a noteworthy cause that HOPE Worldwide will manage. More details to follow.

What are the dates?

Thursday Oct 12th-Sunday Oct 15th. This is a holiday weekend for many careers so we are hoping you can take advantage of this weekend. Monday is Indigenous Day/Columbus Day.

Why start conference on Thursday?

The singles committee decided to begin on Thursday because they feel more fellowship opportunities  is better. Last year at Oasis many disciples came late on Friday or Saturday and felt that having an extra night would help.

What does my registration costs cover?

It covers Ballroom fees, Audio & Visual & Lighting Package, DJ & Dance with refreshments, Worship Team, Guest Speakers, etc. It does not include your hotel or any meals.

Why is it cheaper registration for international guest? Why am I paying more than international guest?

Because international guests have more expenses such a higher airfares and fees.

What’s are the address for the hotels?

Four Points by Sheraton 8110 Aero Dr, San Diego, CA 92123 (3 Star Hotel). Marriott Mission Valley 8757 Rio San Diego Dr, San Diego, CA 92108 (4 Star hotel).

Where do I get the link for the hotel reservations?

 Once you register, you will see the two options. We designed it this way because many people will reserve their room first but not pay for registration fee. Unfortunately that caused a lot of confusion last year at Oasis conference and many singles who registered were left without a room. We ask that you register first and then reserve your room. We will not be emailing the link unless you are registered.

What if I registered but did not secure a room?

How can I get the hotel link? We can send the link to you privately after we verify that you are registered. We want to be fair about those who sign up and register and reserve their room at same time. We appreciate your patience.

Hotel Parking?

Parking fees vary with hotels and depends if you do self-parking and/or valet.

City parking?

San Diego has various city parking lots when you are out and about. Prices vary and there are lots that accept cash but most accept cards.


Will I need a car to get around the city?

There is bus transit and most places to eat or shop are walking distance from the hotels and venues. Lyft and Uber are also available. Many sisters and brothers will be driving their cars to San Diego and in the Spirit of Christ we will be encouraging others to offer transportation around when fellowshipping.

Will there be time to sight see?

Yes. We are leaving ample time throughout the schedule for you to see the beautiful and historical city of San Diego.

Which states are participating?

From Washington to Texas and westward to California and everything in between. We also have disciples registered from our international sister churches such as Canada and Europe.

What will the weather be like?

Average weather is 74 degrees , sunny during the day and low 60’s at night

How many are attending the conference?

We have capacity for 1,000. Last year we had 600+ attend Oasis in Vegas. With many other Westcoast states, we anticipate a higher turnout this year.

Is my registration refundable?

We prefer to exchange your registration with someone else. If in case of an emergency, the singles committee will refund you registration cost. The singles committee will determine what’s an emergency versus if we can refund your fee.

What if I walk in?

The cost will be over $220+ and we prefer for you to register asap to save yourself money and stress.

Is there partial pricing for one or two days?

Unfortunately there is no partial pricing. Current pricing is fair to our current economy and justified with amenities being provided.

What If I really want to attend but I am in a financial hardship?
